How to order your artwork
You've decided to order a portrait from me, here are the steps we will take:
1. Choose or take some clear photos of your subject, ideally at their eye-level. (It is helpful if I can see a few photos of your pet, but don't worry if you haven't got many or if they aren't very clear, I can work my magic for you.)
2. I'll look though your pics and we can decide which one would make the best portrait.
3. You can decide on the size and medium ( i.e. charcoal, pastel or watercolour) you would like your portrait to be in. Check the page on PRICES to help you decide.
4. I'll send you a SumUp invoice via email, for the payment of your deposit (this is 50% of the total price),
5. I'll book your portrait in my diary and give you an estimate of when it will be ready. If you need a portrait for a certain date please let me know an I'll try my best to accommodate you.
6. I will send you updates as I work on your portrait.
7. Once your portrait is finished I'll send you a SumUp invoice for the balance plus postage and packing if required. (If you collect in person the balance can be paid on collection.)
8. I will mount your portrait with an ivory surround so it will be ready for your to frame.
9. I'll then post out your portrait via Royal Mail Special Delivery for the UK or International Tracked for overseas customers. (If you are local to me you can always come in person to collect your portrait).
I love to work with a variety of mediums specialising in pastel, water colour and charcoal. I enjoy using bold colour in my work to create dynamic and strong portraits. The materials used are high quality, light fast and archival which means they will last for many years to come, looking as good as the day they were created. Care instructions are included with your portrait.
